Beautiful handblown vessel with a “textural” pattern on the exterior. There are 4 colours used to create the finished piece . These colours are applied to the molten clear glass while hot, either in the form of a thin layer or a drizzled trail.

These pieces are an exploration into the concept of sanctuary, using the inspiration of mycology found in woodlands. The patterns are inspired by the gills of mushrooms - lamellae - which I might find as I explore the natural space I am in.
